Resources by Student Support Services

GuardMe Insurance

Students at IBU are provided with optional health and dental insurance coverage through partnership with Guard.me. This policy includes access to mobile DOCTOR, allowing students to consult with doctors and registered nurses to receive medical advice directly through the app without a clinic visit. This service is completely optional for Domestic Students doing Online MBA.

Mental Health Support Resources

Once registered with Guardme, students will have access to 100+ resources for mental health support in almost all languages through GuardMe Student Support Program (GMSSP). 

Peer Tutoring

For students who are new to the rigors of the MBA program, IBU offers peer tutoring support. Under this, students can sign up for up to 6 hours per block for tutoring by a senior student.

Goodlife Fitness

IBU students receive a discounted rate at Goodlife Fitness. Through this, they have access to over 200 locations across Canada.

Housing Services

IBU has partnered with various housing providers with preferential rates for IBU students for both short- and long-term rentals. Our partners include 4Stay, The Dream House, Harrington Housing, Places4Students and Canada Homestay Network.

ISX Tours

IBU has partnered with ISX tours, a leading Canadian tour company for preferential rates for IBU students. ISX Tours offers students affordable, all-in-one trips with prices starting as low as around $85 for day trips and $400–$600 for multi-day getaways. Trips depart from Toronto and include transportation, hotel stays, and curated itineraries to destinations like Montreal, Quebec City, Niagara Falls, and New York. Students can also join ski trips, festivals, sports events, and theatre outings, with optional add-ons like the Ice Hotel or CN Tower. It’s designed to be social and stress-free, making it easy to travel, meet new people, and explore without planning everything yourself.

ILAC

Through its partnership with International Business University, ILAC Education Group provides a range of language training and test preparation services for international students preparing for exams such as CELPIP and IELTS. IBU students benefit from discounted course rates, making ILAC’s high-quality preparation programs more accessible and supportive of students’ academic, professional, and immigration goals in Canada

The Bloomberg Lab is a key experiential learning resource at IBU, supporting both students and faculty in developing practical analysis skills. EBSCO is a leading provider of research databases, e-journal and e-package subscription management, book collection development and acquisition management, and a major provider of library technology, e-books and clinical decision solutions.
